In general, showers are relaxing; but they can also be quite exciting –for instance – add your partner and a vibrating toy.

Try this technique -vary the water temperature to find the combination that is the most exhilarating for you and your partner, like hot, then cold, and back to hot again, or any combination you can come up with. Enjoy exploring the way the water feels with vibrations on different parts of your bodies in relation to the temperature of the water. Our Velvet Curve is ideal for this kind of play! It is shaped kind of like a dental instrument and can hit all those nooks and crannies…

Bath Fun

The opportunities are endless for bath time fun, especially if you have a tub big enough for two.

Soak in a hot bath and let your toys help you relax.  Water carries the sound of vibrations — something to keep in mind if you have roommates or house guests. If you have a whirlpool, what a great time to run it!

Did you know that dolphins are the only mammals, other than humans, that seek sex for pleasure, not just procreation? What better introduction to our topic for today. Waterproof toys!

Waterproof toys are stimulating, relaxing and enjoyable during solo play or as an enhancement to partner sex… in or out of water. Enjoy in the bedroom, shower, bathtub, hot tub, or if you really

feel adventurous — some can even be used in the ocean.

Now is the perfect time to add some of Passion Parties’ waterproof toys to your collection. Let me tell you some of the choices in waterproof toys, where and how to use them and how to take care of them.

Got Lube?

As with any passion toy, the first essential to playtime is lubricant. Most lubricants are water-based and water

soluble; meaning they are designed to wash away with water for easy clean up. That’s why 100% silicone lubricant won’t wash away when you need it the most and will keep its consistency much better than water-based lubes in the shower or hot tub. Just be sure not to use it on silicone toys.

Histological section of prostate gland.

Remember, for guys the prostate gland, also known as the male g-spot, the p-spot or the a-spot, is located just a little bit north of the perineum…sort of between the perineum and the anal canal. I know, a bad visual, but I bet you got the picture.

So what do you want to do with this little landing spot?
Since some men find testicle stimulation to be a little TOO much,
stimulation of the perineum is a good alternative. As I always recommend,
if you decide to experiment with any new bedroom fun, be sure the avenues of
communication are open. And while you are in the neighborhood, consider trying some of
these moves on the penis, scrotum or anus too!
  •    licking
  • gently sucking (and no teeth unless specifically requested, and then only super gently)
  • fondle especially during intercourse!
  •  massage
  • vibration

Taint Tween Chode? What exactly is it? What do I do with it?

Ladies: Have you touched your partner in that special place lately? If you haven’t you just might be missing out on some super excitement! So what am I talking about? The Perineum of course.

We all have one.
It is rich in nerves and has great potential to be aroused during fore-play and intercourse. On the ladies it is behind the vaginal opening and before the anus.

Or as I heard it at one of my parties, if its between the ‘giney and the heinie or Ain’t her cooter, ain’t her pooter. And while it is a pleasure area for women, we would probably get better benefit from stimulation to other areas like: clitoris, g spot, vaginal opening or anal opening.

Softskin toys are made of porous material that cannot be disinfected. They may contain rubber softeners such as phthalates, and may also contain latex.

Toys made of these products are often more realistic looking and feeling. Cyberskin has flesh-like texture and density. Using a condom adds to the feeling of having the real deal, and makes cleanup easier.

Some people like to powder softskin toys with corn starch after use to keep the toy from getting sticky. Passion Powders work nicely too and add a lovely scent. But always wash all powders from the toy before use. Do not use talc, as talc has been linked to cervical cancer in women and should never be present in any form of vulva/vaginal play.

Lube: Use only water-based lubes That means oil-based lubricants, massage oils, butter, olive oil…anything containing oil is out.

Cleaning:  If you use powder on the toy be sure to Wash before and after use thoroughly with toy cleaner to prevent contamination and maintain PH balance. rinse with warm water and air or pat dry. Failure to remove cornstarch or powder can lead to irritation and infections.

Storage:  When dry, store in individual plastic bags for best results. Remove batteries before storage.

Jelly rubber toys are made of soft, porous material that cannot be disinfected. Jelly rubber is usually a translucent, soft, and flexible substance that might looks like it contains air bubbles.

Latex or latex like materials are sometimes an ingredient. Some people are allergic or sensitive to latex. Even thought the amount used in the material manufacturing process are small and don’t have disclosed on the labels, for super sensitive people it may be enough for them to react.

Some jelly rubber toys may also contain rubber softeners such as phthalates. Phthalates have had some press in the past few years for potential negative health effects. So far I have not found any solid data either way…so I suggest you read up on the latest news and research on phthalates and decide for yourself. You can always condom a toy to act as a barrier between you and the toy, and to assist in clean up.

Passion Parties toys are Phthalate Free!

Cleaning:  Clean them with toy cleaner and warm water, and store in a cool, dry place away from other objects. If your toy is not waterproof, please take care not to get water in its battery pack or cord.

Lube: Use Water based lubes are recommended.

Cleaning:.  For more delicate blends, or if you are not sure what the toy material is… stick to warm water and toy cleaner. Wash before and after use with toy cleaner to prevent contamination and maintain PH balance. rinse with warm water and air or pat dry.

Storage:  When dry, store in individual plastic bags for best results. Remove batteries before storage.

Silicone blends vary in their density — some are very soft while others are more rigid. Silicone and blends are generally pliable. The variation depends on how much silicone is poured into the mold. Pure silicone toys are non-porous, but when silicone is only one of many ingredients, you should treat them like jelly rubber toys.
The benefit of having a silicone mix is that the material will last longer, and be less likely to break down or tear.

They may contain rubber softeners such as phthalates. Use with condoms for safety and to aid in cleanup.
Do not use silicone lube with silicone/rubber mix toys as it can melt the toy. Be sure to use a condom over the toy if you want to use silicone lube.

Siligel- a Doc Johnson creation that impreginates small amounts of antibiotic along with the silicone material to decrease the infection potential, much like many countertops these days.

Lube: Use only water-based lubes

Cleaning:.  For more delicate polymers or blends, or if you are not sure what the toy material is… stick to warm water and toy cleaner. Wash before and after use with toy cleaner to prevent contamination and maintain PH balance. rinse with warm water and air or pat dry.

Storage:  When dry, store in individual plastic bags for best results. Remove batteries before storage.

Kegal Pods Medical Silicone

Silicone sex toys are slightly porous non-porous, depending on the type of silicone. Pure 100% Silicone or Medical Silicone warms up quickly, retains body heat, is non-porous, which minimizes infection potential, and is firm to the touch. Silicone is considered less-allergenic, has no smell or taste, and can create visually appealing toys with bright colors. Additionally silicone is phthalate free.

Pthalates are chemicals that are used to soften plastic or vinyl to make them flexible. They are used in many every day applications, from sex toys to fingernail polish to perfumes to medical instruments. They have been getting some press recently questioning their safety. I will let you do your own research on this topic, but I will also point out to your which materials are phthalate free. That way you can decide for yourself.

Silicone also had a bad reputation for many years, but most of those claims have not been proven scientifically. Vibration does transfer very well through silicone and silicone blends. But when you get better materials, it generally comes at a higher cost. Many people find the higher price worthwhile because of the longer life-span of silicone, the increased comfort of use, and when using pure silicone, it is easier to clean.

Lube: Passion Parties recommends only water-based lubes with silicone blend toys. However, some people have reported using silicone lubricants with little or no adverse effects with 100% silicone.  Caution: It may ruin the surface of your toy, so I say why take the chance?

Examples of commercially available silicone-based lubricants that you may already have are: Eros, System Jo, iLube, Wet Platinum, ID Millennium, and Passion Parties Slip n Slide.

Cleaning:.  Wash before and after use with toy cleaner to prevent contamination and maintain PH balance. rinse with warm water and air or pat dry.

Other options: For 100% silicone immersible toys,  you can boil it on the stove (3-5 minutes)  After immersing, air dry the battery area. If the battery pack is not waterproof, use the spritz and rinse method.

Storage:  When dry, store in individual plastic bags for best results. Remove batteries before storage.
